Arsenal striker, Robin Van Persie has been named in the squad which is travelling to Whitelane in English Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
It will be another boost for Arsenal as injury mounting for Wenger’s side as they still without Cesc Fabregas, William Gallas and Andrey Arshavin.
Van Pierse has been out since November last year after breaking his ankle ligament on international duty and is expected to start albeit from the substitutes bench.
"He is in the squad for tomorrow's game," revealed Arsène Wenger at his pre-match press conference.
"It's a bit premature maybe [for Van Persie to start the game] so I will see but he is in the squad. I haven't picked the team yet.
"When I pick a player it means he is fit and sharp and has worked very hard. Of course he lacks match-practice but physically he is ready, he is fit."
This is a must win for Arsenal who are lying on position three with three points behind leaders Chelsea and if they win tomorrow they will be on position two after Manchester United were held by BlackBurn Rovers on Sunday.
