Wolveshampton coach Mick McCarthy, said he was happy with his team’s performance against Arsenal on Saturday despite their 1-0 down to the Gunners.
10-men Wolves held Arsenal to almost 93 minutes before Nicklas Bendtener’s header burned them in last seconds of the added time.
The visitors were reduced to 10-men when Henry was shown a straight red card after his reckless tackle over Tomas Rosicky in the 66th minute and the Wolves manager believes Henry would have not been sent-off.
"I had a clear view of it - Karl won the ball and I've also had another look at it since," said Mick on club's official site.
"He shouldn't have got a red card but that's the second one I don't think we should have had this season with Stephen Ward at Liverpool as well.
"We were not kicking the Arsenal players that's for sure.
"There were quite a few players around the referee helping him make the decision.
"And the linesman for some bizarre reason who came about 50 yards and whatever view he had got of it I don't know.
"I don't know if that influences it or not.
"But I've no problem with Karl, I don't think he did anything wrong.
"If I thought he deserved it I wouldn't have done it.
"If I thought he'd kicked him I'd never have comforted him.
"I don't want my players to kick people, but he got the ball."
In terms of a possible appeal he added: "We'll have a think about that before making a decision."
The manager further applauded his players for their commitment throughout the game and more especially Marcus Hahnemann for his World class saves.
"Arsenal had loads of chances," the boss admitted.
"They have to win the Champions League or the Premier League title and they are better than us.
"They had more of the ball than us and more chances than us.
"They could have scored before - I know that, I'm not stupid - but were profligate in front of goal.
"They dominated the game but to get within a minute of taking a point is bitterly disappointing.
"To be down to ten men as well is a diabolical joke.
"It was a real hard-working performance from a great bunch of guys and what happened at the end was probably down to fatigue.
"We defended particularly well and Marcus was excellent.
"I thought at times we did manage to get the ball and take the sting out of the game.
"But I can't say we came here and played well in terms of our football but we almost did a job on Arsenal.
"I'm delighted with my team's performance and have told them I am proud of them - I have been all season and remain so today."
