Flavio Amado da Silva is Angolan and Saudi Arabian based striker who was born on December 30, 1979. He is one of the few Angolan players to play in a country not named Angola or Portugal.
In the recent African Cup of Nations in Angola, He has scored the first two goals through header against Mali in Luanda, in the game that ended 4-4.
He was also at starting line up to the 2006 World Cup, where he scored Angola's only goal of the tournament, with his superb header against Iran to wrap up a 1-1 draw.
He joined his friend, Gilberto at Al-Ahly in Egypt in 2005 from Angolan club Petro Atletico and he has won his share of awards including the much popular Player of the Year in the 2002 African Champions League.
In the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, he netted a goal against Cameroon and two goals against Togo.
With no doubt, this guy will be in the list of top goal scorers in Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
