Florent Malouda started his campaign at Chelsea in 2008/2009 after a low-key first campaign since he arrived in July 2007 from Lyon for an undisclosed fee.
The 27 year-old French international winger was a key player on Saturday when Chelsea thrashed Aston Villa 7-1 in English Premier League, scoring one goal and producing many perfect crosses.
Malouda have also been outstanding at his international duty after his first debut for France in 2004 in a match against Poland.
He won a penalty that was converted by Zinedine Zidane to open the scoring at 2006 World Cup tournament though his team lost to Italy in penalty shoot-out.
At his club, he produced one of the passes of the season for Joe Cole's winner at Goodson Park in Carling Cup semifinal.
2009/2010 season, Malouda has so far scored 13 goals in his 43 appearances with more goals in domestic leagues.
Malouda struggled with knee problem for almost two months that restricted him from first XI but now has found himself in a regular line up for his club as well as for his country.
